My former class advisor has a plaque on the wall that says, "Piss poor planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on mine." Every year without fail, when it comes time to start classes, there's always about two dozen kids who can't understand why the more popular classes are closed and demand, beg, cajole, bargain and cry to get him to do something about it.
