Call an exterminator, we live an brand new house and as the weather warmed up had a bug problem mainly spiders and ants. We called an exterminator and they came out did a sweep of the house and will focus on problem areas. They also treated outside the house so any that wanted in would die trying. After a month they were no longer a problem.
My wife had a real bad fear of spiders, when we started dating she would just scream and make me kill it, then she started killing them on sight, and now she just scoops them up (when possible) and put them outside. She just faced her fear and decided they are harmless (mostly). I woke up one morning and was about to take a shower and saw a brown recluse sitting in the tub, I leaned in to verify it was a recluse and it ran, luckly I had brushed my teeth and still had a partial glass of water and swished him back down the side of the tub, before I sent him to spidy heaven.
