Why do artists always seem to prefer the female form to the male one?
The last time I remember a male figure in our figure drawing class, our instructor was giving a demonstration on blocking out the figure. The man was a thin, older gentleman and stood sideways during the demonstration. Our instructor, this mild-mannered woman in her mid 30s, was talking while drawing on an easel and having us watch.

First she drew a line at the top of the page, delineating the top of his head.
Then she drew a line on the bottom, delineating the bottom of his feet.
Then she drew a line on the right, where his back and buttocks were lined up.
She was starting to draw a line on the left and said, "OH MY!"

Let's just say the line was...moving.
