I have to recommend Maxtor or Seagate, as far as my preference goes. If you decided to go for something a little cheaper, just read the reviews, and perhaps check out
http://consumerreports.com. And this is just my personal opinion, but avoid Toshiba. I've only had 2 of their drives, but both had head crashes after less than 2 years. Good luck!
