I find the idea of a 'challenged' book offensive. A book should challenge. Your beliefs, your ideology, your mind, et cetera, et cetera. The notion that a book should be culled from the compendium because a few narrow minds disagrees is distasteful. It seems an awful lot of trouble to go through in order to 'challenge' a book when just
not reading it would've worked just as well...
P.S.- I've got a whole stack of 'banned books' I plan on reading this next week.
