C'mon grow a pair, it's not like they are going to follow you out to the car and mock you, or even remember who you are, I mean they see hundreds of folks a day...
If that doesn't help, a lot of the grocery stores and Wal-Mart have self-checkout lanes...and I guarantee the scanner won't make eye-contact
