Perhaps in your search you came across
Ted's Caving Page. Its a complete work of fiction, but an interesting read none-the-less. It gets boring a point, but its fun when you get into it. At least I always assumed it was fiction, perhaps it can help lead you to some sort of truth that is based on or something like that.
