This morning I heard a radio advertisement for a car dealer; they claim that they are "15 minutes from everywhere". I can't decide if this is a good thing or a bad thing.
On the good side, this is a great shortcut. Theoretically, I could get anywhere in the world in a half-hour; I just drive 15 minutes to reach the car dealer, then 15 minutes to wherever I need to go.
On the bad side, it could be a form of
Zeno’s Paradox. I'm always 15 minutes from the dealer, and I can't get any closer.
