Go to Control Panel > System > Hardware tab > Device Manager button
Open up the display adaptors by hitting the + and tell us what it says and/or look up drivers for yourself. That is what you need badly.
Also, get service pack 2 and then run windows update. Make sure you have directx9 as well!!!
