Well there are euphemisms in every country and within every country within the different sub cultures ain't there? (I'm from the UK)
The influence of US culture in films to me meant
1st base - kiss
2nd base - breasts
3rd base - fingers in/over pussy
4th base - dick in pussy
but no one used such terms at the school I went to. We were all pretty innocent in those days (70's, early 80's)
