Basically, you are probably overlooking the obvous. If this does go to court, get your friend to testify that she had asked him for a condom for you two. Also if they don't shut the hell up about this soon, you may want to threaten them with court---slander is against the law, and if they are stating this and it isn't true, you can press charges against them.
