I'll tell ya what Daoust, if I thought this were a good idea (and I don't, but to each his own), I wouldn't ask permission. I'd just start the thread in tilted nonsense, collect the nominations via pm, then post the nominees for each category and collect the votes via pm. Then I'd post the results.
Whether or not I think it's a good idea shouldn't really mean two shits to you. If I don't like the idea, I simply don't have to participate. If the staff thinks it's a bad idea, and not in keeping with the spirit of the forum, they'll lock the thread. and politely ask you not to do it again. Seriously all the drama is not necessary.
