The iRiver still il small enough to fit in your pocket (about the size of the orginal iPod...as for the color screen, I believe I said it played video...
of course you don't
need that much space...but why not? I use mine as an external hard drive... the FM tuner gives me radio, and I watch movies during long trips wih awesome quality...
Even the sound is better on the iRiver.
Now, of course, if youre gonna be running with with, the best, I guess, is flash based memory..
but for most people, I think the smartest choice would be the iRiver: more bang for your buck
