Wow, what a story. I have only been riding my mountain bike for a short time. I have owned 3 motorcylces and wrecked them all. Most of the accidents were from other drivers. They simply do not watch out for bikers, motorbikes or cyclists.
I agree, there was nothing you could have done in this case. It sounds like you have the experience and mileage to back that.
Well, good luck in your settlement with the insurance company. I hope they will take into consideration how long you have been riding. That is an accomplishment in itself!!!
