I was there from Nov 1993 to Jun 1995. Actually, May of 95. I took 45 days of terminal leave.

The wife and I rented a house in Copperas Cove, and our first son was born in Darnell Army Hospital.

I was in 1st Cav, 8th Engineer batallion. Our barracks was right across the street from the MP station.

I hated Fort Hood. Hated it. Still hate Texas to this day. No offense.
