Now, the idea of talking to someone on the phone while either of us is going to the bathroom kind of disgusts me. So when I got back to my group of friends (all guys, I was the only female) I mentioned the girl on the cell phone in the bathroom, who, from the conversation, I figured was talking to her boyfriend. They were not nearly as disturbed by the thought of it as I was. Is this some kind of gender thing or am I perhaps a bit too sensitive about the whole thing?

I don't see the problem with it either, but I don't think it has anything to do with gender. It can't be any worse than folks with all their books/magazines in the bathroom so they can do a little reading while on the throne.
Me personally? Bathrooms are for one thing and one thing only....takin care of business and hygeine. That's it. If I wanna read, talk on the phone, or watch TV, there are other rooms in the house for that. But that's just me.
Make sense?
