I enjoyed () even though I'm also not a fan of the Hopelandic nonsense. The lyrics on Agaetis Byrjun are pretty amazing even in translated form, so I'm not sure why the band has decided to abandon that.
Even though they've gone back to writing in Icelandic for the new album, it sounds like they are still trying to make the meaning of the song as vague and open to interpretation as possible. Personally, I prefer when a band has something to say and says it, but there is certainly a place for music like this as well.
