Let's face it. I can handle the price going up because of the disaster. It makes sense. BUT... The gas they have in the pumps right now was purchased at a lower rate.
They are just taking advantage of a bad situation... that *is* sick and cold.

No doubt. This morning it was $2.68, when I came home about an hour ago, the gas station up the road was putting up $3.24.
It just seems a bit odd that every gas station in town has a different price and it seems to be changing at random times during the day. I know a few months after 9/11 about a dozen different gas stations around here got into some trouble for price gouging, so, this little flare up doesn't surprise me one bit.
