Pathetic? How so? It's not like this is a random surprise like the tsunami.
That area of the country gets slammed with hurricanes year after year after year... sometimes multiple times in a single year alone, yet people STILL choose to live there.
You play with fire, you're gonna get burned.
I mean it sucks and everything, but it WAS expected.
Meanwhile, gas soars, people don't question why... I'm honestly more concerned about that right now.
