I have come to a point in my life where I distrust the media to such an extent that all I get from this story is that someone who complained about Halliburton was demoted. The rest is leading material of dubious value from a tainted source.
My guess is her demotion (and it is only a guess) was warranted as why would anyone want to bring down this kind of public scrutiny? If they wanted to 'get rid of her' they could have easily transferred her to something else without demoting.
