Oh crap I didn't express myself clearly in my first reply. I'm really into the look of your mailboxes in Canada/America..what I meant was I can't believe the design of them. A metal box (with no lock?) on a wooden stick, a couple of metres
away from your house? To me, that just screems for a prank with a hammer, really. A mailbox like that certainly wouldn't last a year in Denmark, especially during our New Year's Eve pranks.
Ours are... boring heh. Some of them look like this:
..made of metal, with a lock and on a solid metal post.
Vast majority are like this:
..metal case, with a lock, and secured to the walls of our houses (preferably near the front door). None are made of wood, really. That's more a Norwegian thing
