Special effects over the top at times (as in the Matrix), but effective, entertaining, and some scenes just took my breath away, especially the scenes in Hell. A few years ago, I re-adjusted myself to appreciating Reeves not as a great actor, but as a very effective one. He does whats needed to carry the movie and nothing more. He fits in perfectly with his movies. I've grown to enjoy his acting of late (where he was unwatchable in the past), and I really enjoyed Constantine.

I totally agree...I always hear people making fun of Keanu Reeves' acting... I think it always fits the character he plays...
Nobody needed an overly dramatic demon fighter in Constantine, the role of the cold, always serious guy is acted out perfectly. Really cool movie.
