At least the driver gets to pay for a new bike and my checkup. Even with just bruises I'm pretty sore, and might blow off a couple days work. Probably talk to a lawyer tomorrow to see what he thinks. There's no way I can be in fault in this since I was on the thru traffic road and there were no stop signs or traffic lights, and I was where I was supposed to be on the tight hand shoulder of the road.
