Umm...troops? Having troops move into this rave to break it up is illegal. For starters, they have no jurdictation whatsoever in any area of the United States unless it was a emergency. The raver was obviously stoned and must've mistaken SWAT (as mentioned by the sheriff's statement) as troopers. The reason there was "troops", as mentioned by the raver, there was 3000 people, did you expect a small sheriff department to successfully break it up?
Again, as mentioned by the raver, there was approx 3,000 people and yet the promoter call the event legal and stated that they had all the permit but didn't have the mass gathering permit?
Quote:
Utah County mass gathering ordinance prohibits the gathering of two hundred and fifty or more persons without a permit, bond, and Utah County Commission approval.
Research was conducted and no mass gathering permit had been obtained for this incident. However, a health department permit had been obtained and EMS personnel were contracted to be on scene for first aide.

In the video there were ravers fighting the police officers, obviously that warrents the "troops" to start laying down the smack
Quote:
A few "troops" rushed the stage and cut the sound off and started yelling that everyone "get the fuck out of here or go to jail". This is where it got really sticky.

It looks like they calmy walked on the stage and I didn't hear anybody flipping out until the video switched to the struggle between ravers and "troops"
This looks like another large illegal rave that had to be broken up by a large police force and now, ravers are crying foul on it. These things happens once in awhile. It's illegal because of many reason as pointed out by the sheriff dept's statement
1. Drugs Presented
2. Sexual harrassment
3. Inadequate security
4. Minor Presented
5. Liqiuer Presented
Ps: I love the part where you can see a raver in the video sticking one at the heli
