Depends on whether there are other guys in any of the stalls.If no one else is in the bathroom, I usually pick the farthest one. If there is someone else in the bathroom, the "MPPNBA" rule comes into effect, and there must be a least 1 stall in between occupants (see the
International Center for Bathroom Etiquette for more information on the MPPNBA rule).
