I listened to BEGGAR'S BANQUET again last night, and it is of course anchored by a couple of well known Stones' tracks, "Sympathy For The Devil" and "Street Fighting Man." Beyond that, there were several acoustic based songs, maybe more so than any other Stones album, and more than I had remembered (I've never owned this record).
All in all, it wasn't bad, but I'd still go forward to the Mick Taylor years before suggesting this to a novice.
