I must commend you on deciding to START at a 4ga instead of slooooowly stretching it from a smaller gauge. Having had a needle in my penis and having had a 4ga in my ear, I can roughly associate what the two would feel like combined, and I have to give you props for going for it!
I'm a little surprised to hear about the bleeding, though, since most people say the "pierce-and-taper" method cuts down on their bleeding (they say the large jewelry puts pressure on the hole and cuts down on bleeding). Glad to hear it's healing up, though.
