The last one I saw was City of God, about a kid (who wants to be a photographer) growing up among hoods in the slums of Rio de Janeiro. Subtitled; pretty good, and that takes you by surprise. 4/5 stars

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind 5/5 stars (I know, not so lesser-known, but I hadn't seen it yet)
Fast Cheap and Out of Control 3/5 stars
Seven Samurai 5/5 stars Make sure youi give yourself 4 hours to watch it
All were pretty good. Tonight I'll watch The Professional, annother recommendation.
