Edit to note that the uninstaller connects to the internet during the uninstall process. The whole thing is just scary.

And this thing just made it worse!!!! Which is what I was afraid of in the first place! If the unistaller worked for you, well, congrats, but as I've done a little more searching that doesn't seem to be the case regularly.
