KellyC has inspired me...part II
Okay...
This is the second. Well, not really the second, I've done a few others, but this one I feel comfortable putting up. (I just didn't think the others were any better... /shrugs)
Anyway, I figured out the perspective thing...I think. When I write, I angle the paper to the left slightly (I'm right handed). So, when I draw I unconsciously do the same thing, which skewed everything to the right when viewed straight on.
Nothing special about the subject. It's a picture. I think it came from a post on the TB, but I'm not absolutely certain.
I really, really tried to follow all the wonderful suggestions. Now, this is still on cheap ass paper using an old ass chewed up pencil, but this is the last time.
So...give it to me again, if you don't mind. Tell me what I did wrong. The shading still off and the hair isn't all that great, but the eyes are better, I think, and the ear turned out pretty good (first time I've drawn one from that angle...) I realize this is a little disjointed, but, to be honest, I'm a little excited. I really think I've gotten a bit better. I haven't been excited like this since...well, since I started playing music.
Anyway, here she is
