Yeah, along with the talks to supply free icecream to everyone... pfft. Never happen. never never never.
Gas has been artificially cheap in North America for 20 years now anyway (as already pointed out by the British poster), time to start getting used to it and make plans to drive less.
Now all we can do is sit tight and wait for the junk emails to make their rounds detailing pointless schemes to "beat the oil companies."
