Being that my hair is making a rapid retreat, I can comment that this is only half true. While some women think bald is sexy, (and while I'm not bald the writting is on the wall) others do not. Conversely women who do think bald is sexy don't have a problem with men with hair. Overall you ARE better off with hair as both 'groups' will be attracted to you.
I've never heard a woman say 'hes not my type' because he had a full head of hair, I have heard this when the guy was bald.
