I don't know about Propecia, but for a few years after high school, while he was in college, my brother started getting an expanding forehead. Sine he was covered under my parents insurance, a doctor put him on Rogaine, the prescription. And it worked great...
Until he graduated from college, got a job, and Rogaine was no longer covered under his insurance plan... so he stopped using it... and within a pretty short time, all the hair that Rogaine grew, was gone.... Rogaine is pretty much a lifetime committment from what I understand.
