The problem I found with GT40 heads is they are extremely hard to come by if your looking for a set used. Plus since most ford explorers had the bare minimum for a cooling system alot of the ones I have found have been cracked or warped. Another factor is since you would have to pull them off of on engine thats less than 10 years old most salvage yards won't let you pull just the heads out, you would have to take the whole engine.
