I have owned a pair for a year and I absolutely love them. The reviewer says that he had to take a rest after wearing them for awhile but he must not be a true gamer who is accustomed to wearing headphones for hours on end. They have the 3.5mm connector standard and you can also buy a USB adapter but they say it doesnt sound as good once you hook up the USB.

As far as games and movies go they are top notch... but the quality isnt the greatest for listening to music, but you said you want it for gaming anyway.

[edit] I looked at the Tritton phones afterwards and they look pretty nice too. 8 speakers is amazing... I just can't find a review of them from a site I trust...[/edit]
