just wanted to post here vs starting a new thread. I am currently in the beta test for Socom 3 and it is a blast. Everyone is loving the new vehicles, of which so far we have a Humvee, a boat, and a small pickup truck looking thing all of which have mutliple seats along with a couple of guns for use by the riders. There is only one map we can play in beta but we can do all the different kinds of games, supression, respawn etc all on this map to get a feel for everything. The map is MASSIVE with good graphics and effects. Gun selection is nice as always this time you have the option of adding secondary effects to various weapons, silencer and a red dot scope for you M-16 anyone? YES, I am not lying on that one. There is obviously some glitch issues with the map messing up or buggy things happening along with crashes but so far seems to be a very solid offering and online mode (which is all we get to play) should develop quite the following that the previous 2 games have gotten.
I cannot post too much about it along with screen shots etc, due to the legalities of being in the beta program, but it is a very nice looking game so far.
