Man you seem to get the worst luck on flights... I fly a lot and *never* have these problems... OK, one time we took off later because of a thunderstorm and one time my flight was cancelled but it was put on the next flight an hour later with no fuss... I can't think of another time I've been grossly inconvenienced or late. Some guys have all the luck I guess...

So it's confirmed, I will be staying in the city this weekend. I held out hope that I might sneak out at the last minute but it isn't going to happen.
It now falls on me to pull an inventive miracle out of my ass and save the weekend from drudgery...
