Chinese Salad Dressing
This is excellent.
3 tbsp peanut oil
3 tbsp soy sauce
3 tbsp rice wine (sake) or dry sherry
3 tbsp wine vinegar
3 tbsp orange juice
3 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp sugar
salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp sesame seeds
1 tbsp chopped ginger root
1 tbsp chopped garlic
Finely chop the ginger and garlic. Blend all ingredients well. Chill for an hour to allow flavors to blend. This is much better than the ginger dressing used in some Japanese steak houses.
