See my signature for an opinion that I find very relevant to this. This guy is trying to get revenge on tobacco companies because his father made the choice to smoke and died from it.
"Assemblyman John McKeon, a tobacco opponent whose father died of emphysema, sponsored the legislation. He cites a AAA-sponsored study on driver distractions in which the automobile association found that of 32,000 accidents linked to distraction, one percent were related to smoking."
A whole .00012% of the population has been affected by it and that justifies banning something which the government has absolutely no authority to regulate.
