I liked it better than the original.
It just feels better. The 70s version never really explained why the fuck this Wonka is so fuckin crazy.
And I always wanted to see Loompaland, or whatever it was called. With all those crazy fuckin creatures. I loved the whole addiction to the cocoa bean thing. Isn't that, um, where you get cocaine? So maybe it wasn't chocolate...
But yeah, much better than the original. This one actually felt more like a kids movie. The other one... creepy. But still good.
