The BIG BROTHER HouseGuests determine the fate of the two nominees, ousting Ashlea, the 22-year-old fashion design student from Plantation, Florida, in a not-so-subtle shove out the BIG BROTHER door. Kaysar, on the other hand, is feeling the love from his BIG BROTHER bros. But nothing is certain in the BIG BROTHER house as the games begin all over again.
ARE YOU READY TO RUMBLE?
Changing plots, plans, strategies and alliances keep us guessing as we approach the first Eviction of the BIG BROTHER 6 season.
Ashlea appeals to Howie, while Janelle looks for support of the sisterhood alliance from April. Eric's riled by concerns over Michael and Jennifer's perceived closeness. Creating dubious drama over the situation, Eric suggests excluding Michael from their alliance, but Kaysar defends him. Kaysar warns Michael of the dissention. In a not-so-innocent move, Michael seeks Eric's advice about Jennifer. Eric plays along, but immediately reports, "Someone scurried like a rat to Michael and told him what went on at the table".
Irked, Eric confronts Kaysar about Michael's conversation. Kaysar admits to the tip-off, wanting to be fair to Michael. Eric cautions April about the deception. He warns the alliance between James, Michael and Kaysar also needs to be shaken up, lamenting, "Excuses: everyone's got one, and they all stink!"
We get the trust about living on PB&J from Ivette, and Howie spills on the truth of life in the house with eight gorgeous girls. We are privy to last-minute contemplations from Ivette, Sarah and Janelle over who should stay and who deserves to get the boot.
I'VE GOT A SECRET, AND I'M GONNA KEEP IT!
We get the dish on the secret pairs as the 14 HouseGuests reveal their sidekick's identity. Ivette excitedly comes clean about herself and Beau: friends for years, they are the TWIST! We see them sambaing their way across a Florida beach. But their secret may not be so well kept after all, as we hear the housemates figuring out their connection in the backyard.
Michael and Kaysar admit to a six-year friendship. They are quick to deduce that they may not be the only pair, especially after Kaysar lets Michael in on the discovery of the Ivette-and-Beau connection. Michael asks if there could be several twists this season.
Then it's Maggie's turn to acknowledge Eric as her covert counterpart. We see them in their real-world scrubs laughing and joking, a happy glimpse into the "ordinary" lives away from the colorful, well-lit BIG BROTHER house. According to Eric, their strategy of "lie, lie, lie, deny, deny, deny" is working wonders for them.
"We are the Twist!" James declares, admitting that he and Sarah are a real-life couple who have been dating for four months. Oh, and they are in LURVE. Ah, the hubris of youth. Well, yes James, you are A twist, but not the only twist.
April and Jennifer proudly announce that they are sorority sisters from the same town. April suspects other twists going on in the house; perhaps other secret pairs? When Ashlea walks in with the same track pants as Janelle, sorority-sister Jennifer is all over the connection. I mean, nobody wears the same outfits, unless maybe they are working together, right?
Ashlea and Janelle bring us in on their former roommate history, but are keeping it secret from their housemates. Not sure how well that's working when they start wearing the same track pants.
Rachel reveals that Howie and she are friends from home. How would anyone pick their teaming, as they are so different? Howie shares her confidence, adding "no one would ever guess that a decent, clean-cut girl like her would go out with an obnoxious, good-looking pig like me!"
We get the dish from Rachel on being the first HoH, before heading into the Diary Room. The HouseGuests ask, is being shallow enough of a reason to evict, or is being rumormonger a far more serious charge?
LOVERS LAMENT WHILE FRUSTRATIONS PENT
Sarah says they are hiding their relationship well. Stolen kisses in the shower and secret hand signs worthy of a Major League catcher communicate their true feelings.
With so many beautiful bodies scantily clad in summer gear, Sarah's insecurities threaten to expose their secret. With admirable fortitude, she keeps it together as James flirts with the other females to keep everyone guessing. But when Sarah voices her insecurity, asking James, "If I wasn't here, would you be with these other girls?" James is direct and to the point in his response: "Have you seen these other girls?" Is there trouble in paradise?
The eviction votes seem to be split between those wanting to rid the house of the high-maintenance brat, and those seeking to exterminate the tattle-tale rat.
THE RAT OR THE BRAT?
When the Nominees make their final statements, each of the condemned is all smiles, but suspecting the outcome that follows. Julie announces that by a vote of 9-2, Kaysar is safe, and Ashlea is out.
The farewells are as brief as Ashlea's stay, with the HouseGuests already thinking about the impending HoH competition. Julie's post-mortem interview includes Janelle's pre-taped farewell as she bids her best buddy adieu. Julie then reveals to Ashlea that all the HouseGuests are paired up.
FAST AND EASY PROVES JUST THAT!
The HoH competition gives a new HouseGuest the chance at ultimate power. The Fast & Easy competition is based on speed and correct and incorrect answers to a series of questions. The last person standing at the end is the new HoH.
After some brain-busting questions and blank expressions, Eric emerges as the new HoH. Will Eric use his power as HoH for good or evil? With such a powerhouse competitor as the new HoH, anything is possible and nothing is guaranteed. Then again, it's just another day in the BIG BROTHER house. Don't miss the intrigue as more secrets are revealed on the next episode of BIG BROTHER 6, Saturday, July 16, at 9 pm ET/PT, only on CBS.
