Check page 15 on your MB manual for the pin-outs on the MB. You might want to ask a tech at a local computer store to double check on that. I'd hate to see you fry your MB.

I have the 20-pin and the 4-pin connectors in place. Taking out the 4-pin and putting it back in sometimes fixes the power-on problem. I did check page 15, and it only says the following:

This connector allows
allows user to connect 24-pin power connector on the ATX power supply

Then it has a diagram of what it looks like and a brief explanation of what each of the 24 pins is for. Then on page 16 it says:'

JATXPWER2: ATX Power Connector
By connecting this connector, it will provide +12V to CPU power circuit.

And again a diagram of what it looks like and an explanation of what each pin does. It doesn't say that the 4-pin has to be in place, though.
Any ideas on the rest of the the issues?
