lol, yes, i'm quite familiar with that rat hole, it’s like a 5 minute drive from school. the actual pier is a filthy mess, looks much better on tv. as far as the beach being clean...hmm, you sure it was santa monica?
the sand, beach and everything by the pier is filthy. perhaps, i'm exaggerating a bit, simply for my hatred of this city, who knows, but after seeing beaches that are crystal clear with beautiful white sand, without crack-head bums harassing you every 5 minutes, places like santa monica look like a wasteland.
