I have to agree with you here. My dad is an elementary school teacher, and he told me he had students in his classes that had NEVER read a book outside of class...until Harry Potter. You can't argue with that...kids (and adults too) reading instead of playing video games or watching TV. Yet one more reason in the huge list of reasons I love this series
