The five pillars of Islam are:
Shahadataan (declaration of faith)
Salaah (formal prayer)
Zakaah (charity)
Sawm (fasting in the month of Ramadaan)
Hajj (pilgrimage to the Ka'bah)
Or, in easier to understand terms,
- Faith or belief in the Oneness of God
- Establishment of the daily prayers;
- Concern for and almsgiving to the needy;
- Self-purification through fasting; and
- The pilgrimage to Makkah for those who are able.
Get your facts right before posting your bigotry.
