Having been a network admin at a investment banking house on Wall Street for a year or so, i can tell you it's no picnic... for every minute that a server goes down and is not accessible (and it happens a lot ) you have a little master of the universe hemorraghing cash... and stressing out on you...
Learning experience? Might be a little too fast paced to get the education you might hope to get... Most of our interns got abused... it was slave labor... we never sent 'em into the lions den, but they did all the dirty work...
I'd probably go with experience 1
