Yes, they were. Well, Goosen had been up and down during the past six years for a total of 129 game appearances; he never played a ML game afer the trade. Trepko didn't get into the majors until 1974 and Martin had played in 8 games in 1968, but never again.
Flood played in 13 games for the Senators before he was either cut or quit.
I'd say that trade didn't help either club.
