The song I'm thinking features vocals similar to either gavin rossdale [bush] but very well could be by someone else...

A lot of the lyrics were indecipherable, due to the vocalist's bumbling, but I was able to figure out in the chorus had: "ey, ey, ey, ey....." ; 'Let me be' ; "hold me closer" and "like myself" all in the chorus, in various parts of it....

Although Nirvana's heart shaped box also contains the 'ey, ey,' in it - I'm positive this isn't the same song as described above.

EDIT: After doing some searching on google and itunes, It's Stone Temple Pilots - Trippin' On a Hole in a Paper Heart....the vocalist doesn't sound like Scott Weiland at all, weird.
