Because unfortunately there are still alot of people who see it as a terrible thing. These are the people who have bought into the propaganda spread by the government. There are several states that have decrimalized marijuana though, which means we are that much closer to having the law rewritten the way it should be. But, that is still quite a ways off unfortunately. Once people realize that it is not the devils weed and it won't turn their children into raving lunatics, then it will be decriminalized. Unfortunately, with the government still spreading its lies, I don't see that happening anytime soon. So, until it is, I'm going to sit here, smoking my illegal herb, trying to spread the word that it's not such a bad thing.
