Properly inspired by the threads of Paq and Pinkie, I humbly submit some pics from my visit to our local zoo. Pretty small by big city standards, I was struck though at how clean and well kept it seemed, and by how well cared for the animals were. I guess it reminded me a bit of Linus' pumpkin patch, not the biggest, but VERY sincere.....

Our first visit was to see the world famous two-headed snake:

We walked around the corner just in time to see this bear get his nose bitten off:
